Friendly Cacophony

Here's the finished product of a WONDERFUL block exchange from "The Quilting Stash" Yahoo Group using Hoffman 2007 challenge fabric. It certainly brightens my office! Pieced together with the quilt-as-you-go technique I just learned in a class by Linda Denner. Lots of fun and the machine quilting is much easier a block at a time. The colors came together wonderfully.

Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to Orion. Small wall hanging for my husband. Love how the Cherrywood fabric looks like suede!

The 3rd Memorial Quilt

Here's the last of the three memorial quilts for my friend, Lee Ann. This one, for her daughter, Ashley, is made with 2 inch squares of fabric hand appliqued onto a muslin background. Some of the squares are actually small pictures printed onto fabric. There are also 2 larger pictures as focal points. I machine quilted between the squares with free motion quilting on the border.
